More videos of Damaged Walls Holding up Runway 9/27 at Memphis

July 13, 2010:  U.S. Senator Bob Corker’s office is now investigating the Memphis Airport Authority’s actions surrounding the Hurricane Creek tunnel and Runway 9/27 scandal.  I was told by Senator Corker’s staff that they would be contacting the District Attorney’s office immediately.

June 8, 2010:   Based on information received today from U.S. Senator Lamar Alexander’s office, we now have proof that the Memphis Airport Authority lied to the press about the condition of the damaged walls below Runway 9/27 at their May 20, 2010 Board Meeting.  None of the information I presented to the Board at this meeting was recorded into the meeting’s minutes.

May 20, 2010: Prior to the Memphis Airport Authority’s Board Meeting, Sara Hall, the Airport Authority’s Legal Counsel, without my knowledge or approval, selectively removed the majority of pages and photographs of the damaged walls beneath Runway 9/27 from my presentation before distributing them to the Board members.

After sending the photograph below to the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation I received this email response from Memphis Water Pollution Control after their inspection of the Hurricane Creek tunnel:

"We didn't conduct any water tests. We performed a visual inspection of the tunnels to ascertain if there is any evidence of surface water issues. No problems were noted."
