The opening night of my gallery reception at Christian Brothers University was the 1 year anniversary of my Aunt Suzie Cobb having been diagnosed with breast cancer. Her treatment included surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy. Her fight with cancer was so remarkable to me that I wanted to celebrate her recovery in some way so I painted her this pink flag titled "American Woman".  Scroll to bottom of page to see other images.
